In a Dark Place.
Human, Head of caravan
Horace was a hard working man in the human village. He would coordinate the trade caravan to the city as well as oversee the merchandise on the cities market day. He was a regular at the Silver Unicorn Inn, and was friends with many well respected citizens of the city.
His family was brutally slain, save his 9 year old daughter Anne, with no suspect other than Horace himself.
On the day of his trial, covered in spit and being pelted with debris, his daughter ran to his side. “Don’t hurt my daddy, please! He didn’t kill nobody!”
The villagers looked at her puzzled, and asked who was really responsible.
